GET TO KNOW TONY

I’m Tony Verdi—a lifelong communicator, brand storyteller, and marketing strategist who’s spent over 25 years building businesses and developing the messages that help them grow.


My story began in East Greenwich, RI, where I eventually purchased and reinvented a beloved local shop, Thorpe’s Fine Gifts, later renamed Thorpes & Verdi. I directed everything with my small team, from store design and product curation to marketing and store events. But what excited me the most was writing the campaigns—every ad, sign, webpage, and commercial. That’s where I realized: I wasn’t just running a business—I was branding one.


But my love of storytelling started long before that. As a kid, I walked around the house with a Mr. Microphone announcing mock news broadcasts and making up commercials. That early spark led me to earn a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University, where I learned how to write and report with clarity, impact, and voice—skills that continue to guide my work today.


As a top-producing real estate broker and Chief of Staff for the Steven Miller Group at Coldwell Banker Realty, I lead high-impact digital marketing campaigns and drive brand growth—earning a place among the top 12% of Coldwell Banker agents and teams globally. In 2011, I launched my personal real estate brand—The Signature of Trust—a name that reflects my commitment to authenticity, integrity, and client-first service. It’s a guiding principle I bring to every project, in any industry. 


In addition to leading creative initiatives, I bring a strong foundation in business operations—beginning my career after college at my family’s company, Coastal Food Service, in Providence, RI. This foundation gave me the confidence to own and manage multiple ventures where I oversaw staffing, systems, customer experience, vendor relationships, and sustained growth. I understand how to align messaging with real-world execution—and I know what it takes to move the needle.


I also launched HomeCookingWithTonyVerdi.com, a passion project that’s grown to over 1,500 subscribers, proving again how content, when it’s authentic and well-told, builds community.


Now, I’m open to work with established teams and organizations to help tell their stories. I bring a clear, approachable tone with a strategic edge—because great content shouldn’t just sound good, it should perform.
